what sm465 is this?

Nope, its an '85 and up. Its got the short height adaptor which means this specific 465 and 205 are the highly desired 32 spline.

Check the tag on the 205. It should say the year. I would say its anywhere between '85 to '91.

Oh yeah, you even got hydro clutch parts, too. You could double your money back easy.

I thought all 205's after 85 were rear slip yoke. Then again, that doesn't mean that someone hasn't converted it to a rear fixed yoke either.

thats what i thought too, not this one tho. its a pto, no idea what it ran tho.

The cab-and-chassis and crew cabs had fixed yokes because they ran two-piece rear shafts. The regular cab standard trucks had the one-piece d-shafts with the slip yokes.
It was pretty much along the lines of any wheelbase, in the 1 ton configuration, over 131.5" had two-piece rear shafts and fixed yokes.

Well, that makes sense. :doah:

Yeah, I learned from dismantling lots of trucks. And then the internet confirmed a lot of my findings, too.
