I just got a 14 bolt ff for my 1/2 ton K5 blazer and was wondering if i should get the 1 ton rear leaf springs for the new axle or if it would be good to keep the 1/2 ton springs which mihgt be more flexible. Or does it not matter?
thanks

What are you trying to accomplish? Stock height, stock with more hauling strength, lift with flex, lift with hauling capaibilities, ???????????????????

We need details to be able to help.

I want to get the 4 inch shackle flip lift from ORD so i wont need new rear springs. I want to get lift and flex and i won't be twoing anything.

Do you just want a 4" lift or do you want more?

If you are just goign with a 4", I'd use your stock springs and an add-a-leaf to level out the rear.(if you still have a saggy rear after the flip).... If you need more lift, go with some soft lift springs from Superlift, BDS, Tuff Country, etc...
One ton springs will probably be too stiff for what you want.

Anytime! :D You're lucky to live in Mesa. Thats a nice area. Visited there back in '95 and loved it!!!
