What the heck happened to DICK CEPEK!!!

Anyone seen or heard from these guys. You call the main number and it gives you the after hours recording during normal business hours. You call the retail locations and it just rings. I have stuff ordered there and still haven't received it.

I heard they were having big sales problemes with thier tires (tires arn't selling no more) but other than that????

Dick Cemen filed for chapter 11 a couple months ago. I think their attitude finally did them in. At least thinking this makes me feel better.

Ok I just called and got the order line hit option 2 to leave a message and a message came on saying" Dick Cepek will be closed for two weeks"

Yea. Come to think of it when was the last time they had a big advertisement in one of the main magazines? I don't remember one for a long time. And they used to have huge ads.

The story goes that they are having problems and most of the stores are closed down and will not re-open. As I heard it the old man died and the kids spent the money. They owe lot's of $$$ and don't have it anymore. But this is just the story I got from afriend that works in the Custiming industry.
