I know I have seen this some where but the heck if I can remember (problem of being an old fart) I came off the one tone 454 with a TH400 and 205 tc. This is a request to help figure out what the heck it is broke off. I am thinking Torque Converter.

Input shaft to the T-case. Tranny output is a male splined shaft, should be 32 splines for that application. I can't count or remember shit. [EDIT]

Thanks
32 spline , 29 is dodge
Thanks
x2
and if that's broken it will need tear down to swap new in . so make sure to check all the rest of the parts and case . .
OK transfer case to get fixed.

So do you have the yellow truck at home or in a place that doesn't charge storage??
It is on the next level down where he has the boat. So no storage that would just be nuts. You should retire and start a tow company in district 5.

Just a second guess, but could that be the steering column spline at the steering gear box?

nope to BIG a chunk and its hardened metal . sterring box stuff much smaller and soft metal .

Yeah, your right. That piece of metal is almost as long as the width of the pallet bored. That was one hell of a hit to damage the transfer case. It was sad to see such a special truck go down.

Have a friend who owns a tow company that tells me to do the same and take over his so he can retire. No thanks. When I retire it will be no on call, no working nights, and definitely not full time job any more.

Yep they are pretty much part time. "I need a tow, Nope its raining, and its after 7 pm, sorry uh our truck is broke, yeah that's it."

It took me a minute to remember Timber Ridge was the tow company down there. I didn't have to call tows down there very often.
