the best cutting tool ..... UPDATE : one of the best tools of all time !

Didn't see those. I run the same ones.
i got air also . only pic of the 2 together . 1 at each end of the shop . in pic there mocked up and not finished yet . but now both work great for old school pumps .

also a total of over 300gal of air storage .

its dry and cool by the time it gets to my tools.

got a bit done today after helping my buddy put on rafter support boards for his new shop .

the cart was my first welding cart - cutting torch bottle holder setup . she worked good for me for a few years . then i moved on with other stuff. i gave it to a buddy who didn't use it much . i saw it in the back corner of the barn a few months ago i took it back and he was fine with that . well today i found a new use for the old girl . i cut off the back half . added a 2x3" chunk of scrap trailer tongue and plug welded a pair of 1/2" bolts for axles to hold the old shop-vac wheels on the rear end . then i added a second holder on the right side like the left one .

i still need to add a main power cord holder and also plumb the air feed to the cart with a holder and ball valve for the desiccant dryer unit for when not in use . then i will fab up a way to clamp it down to the cart top .

funny thing is i always planed to have a plasma about this size up on top next to my old original hobart 110volt mig i use to own . :D

little closer today in my spare time i had little of . . .

then i got to the hardware store and got my hardware / paid for it / and forgot the 2 most important screws i went for . the shorter ones for the brackets to machine. :doah:

on/off ball valve for air supply so it wont kill the filter as fast when not in use . if left open it absorbes the shop air moisture and kills the life span . so i figure when not in use ball valve shut off and no air movement .

just 2 simple brackets bent up free hand in vise with hand and hammer work . just needed to hold unit down . its a long set of cables on this and up on a cart i could see it flopping over on to floor and going smash . . . so NOT my new tool . . . you get bolted down .just need to drill the holes to clamp down to top and then paint brackets black and be good to go .

then its test fire / play time. :woot::woot::woot:

almost 2000 bucks it better be secured to the cart . as a 20ft lead on the gun and 25ft on ground and 10ft on power feed plus hose you know this thing would be hitting the floor real fast .

i am surprised they didnt offer a way to secure it down . my 799 dollor lincoln welder has 4 holes in the bottom feet just for this . . . .

got her locked down this morning and fired it for its first cut with me from being now out of the box .

now to pull straps and paint black .

and the air hose port idea works like butter ! :woot:

When it's cold out my wife's nips will cut diamonds!!

Dude, thats like some Super Hero power sh*t. You better Hang on to that! Lol she is going to need an appropriate outfit that goes along and matches her super power ability. Then you need to find out if she will give you permission to post in the pen. For the rest of us to view in aww at her Super Power abilities. :deal:  :smile1:   :haha:J/k

I like the hold downs. Mine is sitting on a motorcycle stand for the time being...

lowes / home depot / local hardware store . 1" wide by 1/8" flat metal from the metal selection section . 2 of them hand bent in vise and 4lb mini sledge hammer . 1 coat self etching primer and 2 coats black . also 1 chunk of rubber under the end to cancle out and vibes it might get rolling around the shop .

I am surprised there was no hold down options on this unit for its price to replace it . like I said above my 799 doller 110volt Lincoln mig welder has 4 bolt holes on the bottom of it .

well used it for 2 cycles of the 80 gal air compressor today to clean off some brackets and tabs from a project . 1/2 way threw it was tripping a few warning lights and shutting off.

my dumb arss didnt realize how much air it used and the compressor was not on . . . :rotfl::doah::1zhelp:

then when all done i checked the desecant dryer thingy and its almost clear already . . . :yikes:

i guess i need to get me a good unit for the machine . as my system must not be as dry as i figured it was .
