i was headed to the drag strip to watch the races last friday(because with my blazer i get the perfect view ) stopped for a pit stop and gas pumped all over the ground from my motor....it kinda blow my mind when i used 1/2a tank of gas driving 6 miles to the store.... what do you think

sometimes when the diaphram on the pump gives it will pour out pretty bad.....sounds like a broken line though

Throw a match and follow the fire trail up your motor.
Ummm........ on second thought don't do that

Is it a fuel injection system or carburetor? I would just follow the fuel line up to the front of the truck to see where exactly the fuel is coming from. Shouldn't be that hard to find if you are losing that much fuel in a short amount of time... Good luck.

How can we tell where it's coming from without being there? It can be coming from a number of places.
Have a fire extinguisher handy, turn the truck on and look for the leak. Sounds like it'd be pretty obvious where it's coming from.

thank for the help i found out it was the fuel pump....put another on and runs like new....it is a L98 350ci. out of a vette w/ a 650 holley carb.
