I was kinda wondering if anyone knew what the deal with this rear suspension is. I was digging through some old stuff, found this, and hadn't seen anything like it.

its a 3/4 eliptical, it has its draw backs, more than with a regular 1/2 eliptical (normall leaf spring setup) springs

Most people don't use it on a fullsize for a number of reasons. I gather the main one is weight. Is that keg for a propane conversion or an end of the trail party?

Are both rear Swampers the same size? The one on the right looks larger.

ha, most of the 1/4 ellip setups I have saw are a link type system and the half pack (the ones on the top here) hit the axle to suspend the vehicle. I bet this doesn't axle wrap a bit when it hooks
