Here is something strange. My 74 Blazer has a stock automatic transmission that generally works pretty well. Recently though when I take off when the engine and transmission is cold (below operating temp) I will get a spurt of transmission fluid out of the filler tube. It only happens when it is cold. Never a problem after everything is warmed up. Of course the oil leaks down onto my headers and makes a smoke screen that would make Bat Man proud. Any ideas on what the problem is???

Thanks

bad seals in the tranny when they get old they get hard but when it warms up it softens them
