I haul stuff in my 1 ton all the time, whether it's personal stuff or materials for the shop and it's getting old not having good tie-downs.
I was looking at some track systems that are adjustable but I'm not sure if it's worth the $200 price tag...

Soooo... what do you guys run? Pocket style, bolt in, track systems?

Doesn't yours have the tie downs in the bed already? I swear the '99 and '00 I used in the Marines did. We just used those all the time to tie heavy and big crap in.

Big Ugly does have some pretty handy eyebolts though. Wish all my trucks had them.

I welded small d-rings to the front, rear, and wheel wells.
Works great.

I always wondered why GM didnt put factory attachment points in our trucks.

swing by the local Home Depot, pick up a couple of illegals, tell them to hold this sh!t, and hit the corners as fast as i can and watch the entertainment.

well in bed i useually just tie her up with a tie or somthin..... oh wait not that kind of bed

Saw these in a mag a litlle while back.

Those look good but I guess I should have been a little more clear with the stuff I haul/tie down...

Generally it's heavy shafts and oxygen/acetylene/argon tanks that need to be tied down so they don't roll... not necessarily tall stuff so I'm looking for tie downs that I can put in really low (practically on the floor) and hook a ratchet strap into.
My boss' truck is an '02 1/2 ton chevy and it has tie downs in all four corners on the side just above the floor and I use them all the time...

i got some nice ones in the rear just like you described and i have been looking for some more for the front i could just screw in.

those are pretty cool! but someone who's got a pair needs to rename those colors! :yikes: and someone else with an eye for aesthetics needs to redesign that website... :puke:
