what to do with chrome

i know we're not supposed to ask "how mcuh is this wroth" but i dont know who to ask about this so if im breaking the rules, i appologize, but i dont know who else to ask this question.

i have the crome (striping all around the body) off of my 74 k5. when i bought the truck it was not attached and i have the chrome all sitting out back on my deck, and am NEVER intending to use it in the future. is this chrome worth anything? should i jsut toss it? or is it something that is just "kinda worth hanging on to"? is it rare to have? or pretty commonplace? any info is helpful. thanks.

Its definitely worth some cash if it is in good shape. As mentioned, GM doesn't re-produce it, and aftermarket stuff is both super expensive, and trash compared to the original stuff.

Go to a forum like 67-72chevytrucks.net register to sell, and you can most likely sell it to a 2wd blazer guy for way more than it'd cost to register

I put mine on e-bay. I don't remember what i got for them, but there were a ton of bids. People want that stuff, bad.
