What to look for in a used Sub

New to the site. I'm looking for either a 81-89 Sub or K5 Blazer. What are some tale tale signs that I should look for when looking at these trucks? Anything year, model, etc to stay away from? Thanks for your help.

Best thing to look for is a '91 3/4-ton. It will already have beefier axles and brakes, and best of all, it will have a 4L80E tranny. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Makes for a pretty bombproof rig. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Welcome to CK5. The best one would be whatever you can find that has minimal rust. Everything else on these trucks are easy to fix, except rust.
