So for those who havent read my other posts the story goes like this. i picked up an 86 k5 and quickly found the frame was shot along with a good portion of the body however 90% of the electrical and mechanical are in great shape. since when all was said and done it would have been more to fix then to just buy another one i did just that and picked up an 84 k5 where the frame is in great shape the body is decent but unfortunately i didnt go through it enough and found a lot of other headaches ie ac system was taken out a lot of parts are rusted out and not functioning right light the heater control. so i'm going to be swapping the good parts off the 86 to the 84. but heres my question aside from the obvious non working parts swap, the 86 had all the features including power windows and locks, as well as an electric choke carb(on a 305 engine the 84 has a 350) is it worth swapping the power windows and doors over? i'm already planning on swapping the wiring harness over since it appears to be in better shape. Aside from that is there any other parts worth holding onto or swapping over before i scrap/sell for parts?
