I'm about to install my Rebuilt 700R4 and I have been shopping for a replacment torque converter.

What is the stock stall speed on a 90 K5 ?

I have a 350 tbi, with 3.73's 31 inch tires and I use the truck mainly for daily driving and towing.

I have searched but couldn't come up with anything stating concrete factory stall speed
thanks

Factory stall speed rating is 1354 but they will actually stall 1500-1600 rpm. Make sure you get a converter with the later heavy duty damper and later bearing design, these are also furnace brazed from the factory. You will be better off buying from a converter builder than a parts house since you never know what you will get from a mass producer unless they have a specific part number for the later design. This is not an area to go cheap, there is a huge difference in the right and wrong way to build these converters for strength and durability.
