I am curious to see what majority tranny is being ran. Choose performance stock if simple mods like a shift kit, big cooler, deep pan is used only. Only vote modified auto if you have serious internal modifications like aftermarket HD parts, different gear ratio(s), along with the simple mods.
Please everyone vote, not just the guys with heavily modified rigs, I want to see what the majority is with ALL the members. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

465 right now, NV4500 by summer. I'd never run a slushbox in my rig.

465 w/mech now, probably give me another 30 days and I'll have my hydro clutch one installed.

th 400 now and I realy like it, but if it goes I think I will go with a 465.
Lot easier to change a clutch than rebuild an auto. plus I love the 465 granny gear I miss that from my old truck.

what about those with multiple rigs?

my plow truck has a 700r4 but my trail rig is going to have a 465 /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I wouldnt run anything but an SM465 in my trail trucks. But i have had3 700r4s Go south in my DD (1988 2wd pickup) Including one GM interceptor model. It now has a TH400 in it.

TH350 for me. Mine's been in since 1971 (the original one died at 20K) and has 300K on it. Its hesitating going into reverse now......I think I'll replace it with another TH350 and add a cooler to the new one /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Daily driver = 4L80E

K5 = TH400 : HD case w/ manual v/b, upgraded spargs, free wheeling, deep pan and 2200 stall

TH350 with 2000 stall, TCI shift kit, HD cooler etc. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

If/when I switch, it will be a SM465. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

TH700R4 rebuilt by ? before I got truck. Shift firm. I have nearly 40,000 on it , and I do wheel it. Good cooler added, should last awhile longer. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
