I bought this 4L80e trans and case off another member. I believe this is out of a 90's suburban. Honestly I don't know. I don't need the case and want to sell it but need to identify it first. Any help would be apppreciated.

first 3 #'s on the tag you got pics of :doah::haha:

np 243 c

new prossess

model 243

c = chevy

fyi save the adaptor . i used one to mate a 203 range box to my 4l80-e . redrilled the face of the 203 box and bolted it up.

also if trying to sell it, it is an electric shift unit not a manual, I think they made both styles in that model.

Hay, I don't know squat about transfer cases and I had a brain tumor so it's a double wammy for me, so take it easy! lol!!! :D :haha::haha::haha::thumb:
j/k, thanks for the info. I learned something today. Hope I can retain it. Tumor was on the memory side of my brain :doah:.

Next question is whats it worth? I just need it gone since I don't need it period. Hell if someone wants it I'll give it away.

Would this be a better option for my tow rig crew cab over the original NP205? It's lowed geared but not as heavy duty. I was going to run a doubler in my crew cab, but really don't need one in a tow vehicle until you hit the sand with a toy box.
