What transmission do 85 K5's come with?

I went into Schmucks to get parts cleaner & a trans pan gasket for my 85 K5. I assumed it has a T350 and told the salesman I need a trans pan gasket for a T350. He starts looking it up on his computer and asks me what make & model. Well all in all he tells me my rig does not have a T350. So what trans does my rig have or what options of transmissions did Chevy offer? Any codes I can look for on it to tell me whats what? Just looking for some direction here. Thanks in advance. Ben

Do you have overdrive? If you do it is probably a 700r4. That's what mine had.

The 700 was the demise of my 85. It blew tranny fluid all over and caught fire. I had been warned about them by several people. On the other hand, there are lots of people on this site that swear by them. Hopefully you have good luck with yours.
