Need input on what other K5ers with 6" to 8" lifts are running for rear driveline. Inparticular those who have or had tailshafts like an NP241. I will likely go with a SYE new shaft, but if any one is running something different and having success, I'd like to hear it. The setup I'm looking at is approaching 900 bucks, ouch! But if I have to I will.

im running 4inch springs and 5inch blocks in the rear, transfer case shimed down with spacers 208 transfercase and i just got a longbox driveline and had it shortened after i rotated my pinion angle be rewelding perches, no vibes or bind.

5 inch blocks!!!  :eek1: ..wow..

If you run a SYE you can probably run a standard shaft instead of a CV driveshaft. You might even be able to use a stock one out of a late 70s K5 with a TH350/NP203.

hey now its just temporary im am taking the lift off this weekend to put it back onto my shortbox and it has 8 inch rear springs, so i will only have to use a 2inch block
