so after my motor thread i decided to start over and go with a 383 stroker

gonna have a shop build it this time, and they have assured me the motor will make 450-500 hp/tq at the flywheel or my money back/

now thats carbed.

im thinking of fuel injection and also a blower. i kinda just want to go all out and have fun (ya only live once right) so my power output is gonna be outragous compared to what im use to.

now what will break first? i have freshly rebuilts D60's at the front and rear, new front driveshaft with those high dollar u joints and a double cardin rear shaft.

the sm465/208 combo has about 210k on them both work flawlessly.

its an 86 k5 so half ton frame.

driveshafts? u joints?

the D60's

so? whats gonna go first when i mash the skinny pedel.

im picking the t-case

Depends what you do with it. 4wd burnouts on the street? You know you will be tempted.....and if you do, i vote tcase.

Mine isn't quite that powerful, but it can break U-joints. But yours might be larger, so who knows. It'll be alot of fun until you find out. lol

Depends on how you drive it first. So during breakin period nothing. First Time you lay into it. Well depends on how u drive. If you are good and it hooks up youll prolly spit out a driveshaft due to ujoint FAIL. If you suck you will Prolly Burn the Clutch up before you move ten feet. Unless you dump the clutch which then will be catostrophic. I say TH400 or even 700r4. They work

I voted u-joints, unless you have 1410's or bigger, then it'll be the t-case.

lol i like all the different anwsers lol i probably wont go with the blower, i just wanted to see what yall thought.

as for the savings account, what savings account? all i have is a blazer fund :D bills come second :wink1:
