Apprently ive got a hole burning in my pocket and too much free time, so im trying to upgrade/update my Blazer somewhat. I was looking on ORDs website and seen the greasable suspension stuff. Right now ive got Rough COuntry 2" spring lift and 33" M/Ts and swaybar removed. So what would these added components do for me in the long run? Thanks

I run greasable bushings on all ends of my springs/shackles (flip in the back, lift spring in front). I noticed it rides smoother and flexes abit better after i installed them. I like the fact that i can grease them periodically too.

The shackles are longer (to keep the spring from hitting the frame) and are way stronger than the stock shackles (which are pretty flimsy).

It also uses bigger 1/2" bolts. Using greasable bolts will help the suspension flex/ride better and will make bushing removal easier.

Its all pretty much explained here.

Ok, cool.

As far as their HD shackles, I like the idea of these, but dont really want any more lift. do they add lift?

You can get them in 4.5'' or 6''. 4'' is stock length. I run the 6'' and it gets you 1'' lift.

Ok, which HD shackles do you mean, front or rear?

The above is for rear, i also run the front HD shackles and they are longer and much beefier.

For the just the front or can I do this for the front and rear. 1" wouldnt be too bad.

I dont think you have to use them with a flip, can be done on factory setup, no?

(yes, i got mixed up on which shackles he meant, oops).

Just got off phone with ORd. I ordered everything but the rear HD shackles, while they do lower it 1/4" the front will be raised 1/4" so that is a diff. of 1/2" and could look funny. So, we shall see. Parts are ordered and on their way, see them next week sometime.
