During the restoration of my 85 blazer. I ripped a dash apart and found underneath two wires that are severely melted. Anyone able to tell what they are hooked to I’m not sure if it’s the brake system or not. Thanks.

Is either cruise control, trans lock up control. Depending on what trans you have

I have a 4 speed auto-transmission.
Could be the torque converter lock up control.
Possibly the solenoid is shorted and
drawing to many amps
