Best way to put rocks in a Chevy, link it push the front axle way forward. That way you don't have to lift so high.

Wheels brakes suspension steering, its actually not that hard it just is alot of work overall and you have to know how to deal with problems as they come up.
I don't think the 32" spring spacing on a chevy will allow certain pinion brakes. Thats just one issue
Linking is the best idea. I have seen the mounts being ripped off with all that extra unsprung weight. So box them in as best you can. Brakes, steering, time, and driveshafts as well. My cousin is building an 01 2500HD Burb with 2.5 tons, and they deff don't just fall on. He just went with pinion brakes and it used a draglink just so we can push it around until he gets the full hydro all assembled.
