I have a Hellroaring Isolator kit for my dual battery setup.

Here is how my setup goes. Power from starter to islolator, isolator to buse fuse and then to battery pos. And then neg terminal grounded to frame.

I believe my fuse has blown......

I have 14.5v hitting isolator side of bussfuse, but 12.1 out (back feed from battery)

Ill get a new one, but wonder how or why this couldve blown.

Ok, say I check the fuse and its blown, which im pretty sure it is, then what. Im trying to figure out what would blow a 150a buss fuse, changing it isnt the problem. I want to know why or what to look for so it doesnt happen again.

So, your 12vdc has to go through a fuse to power the starter?

I believe your starter will easily draw more than 150amps. Am I understanding your wiring incorrectly?

Here is isolator.

Wire from starter goes to RIGHT lug

WIre goes from RIGHT lug to far LEFT Lug - U shaped

Wire goes from MIDDLE lug goes to Bussfuse and the on to Backup Battery.
