What would cause my power steering reservoir to overflow out of the cap? I have tried the lock to lock treatment to bleed out air pockets and put on a new cap. Now it blows out even worse than it did with the old cap. I tried to search for an old thread that I saw about this, but had no luck. The reservoir is up by the water pump since this is a big block with hydro boost. Any Ideas?

I had the same problem but, I just jacked up the front and kept turning. Back and Forth I went for a good 5-10 min. Kept it semi low while driving it for a while and after I noticed no fluid level change I topped it off.

Air in the fluid is what makes it foam like that. If you haven't messed with the power steering, then you have a loose connection at a hose or a seal sucking air.

Sorry that it has took so long to say thanks to y'all. I bled the system again last weekend and made sure all the connections were tight. While I was doing that, I found a very very small hole in one of the hoses that goes up to the booster. I'll try to change the hose on my next days off and see if that helps. Thanks again!
