To make an NV4500 work in my truck? 400/205 in it now. Which year 4500 do I need to make bolting to my 205 as simple as possible? Did a bit of searching and from what I'm reading, a nv4500 from an early-mid 90's gm truck is my best bet. With a spacer from Advanced adapters, it's supposed to bolt right to the long input on my 205. Can anyone confirm?

Pedals and master/slave cylinder stuff I'm sure I can find with some more searching...but in the mean time, what'cha got?

I have a hail mary pass planned for my th400....how that goes will decide how serious I'm gonna take this nv4500 business. :doah:

Im not all on whats involved with the swap, but I was daydreaming about k20 or k30 with a 454/NV4500 for a work/towrig while at work today.

What I remeber was pretty much what you already have posted, but I thought there was an issue with driveshaft clearance with the slave cylinder on the GM version.
