I have a 1981 1 ton chey with all the goodies dana 60 ,dana 70hd ,sm465 and np 205. I have diy4x b52 kit with 3.5 lift springs 6 inch shackles . Crossover steering will be going in. I also have a 1980 jimmy with i know big gay truck with a 12 inch super lift and the dana60 and 14 bolt brackets cut and tilted up for proper drive line angle. Would it be better swaping in the jimmys diffs or shim up the drive line it has in the 1 ton. The jimmys diffs have 5.13's and are all fresh . I picked up 4.88's for the one tons diffs with 14-10's . Im planning to run 40 or 42's. Also anyone know where in canada i can find some stock H1 hummer rims.8 bolt or 12 bolts ?

The 1-ton is going to have a different driveline angle than the Jimmy. I say leave the Jimmy alone. Cut the perches off the 14 bolt (on the 1-ton) and weld new ones on for the proper angle.

3/4 ton status
If you use the Jimmy axle in the 1 ton, the perches would need to be moved, and then the 1 ton's rear end perches would need to be moved to work in the Jimmy. The 1 tons have a different spring perch spacing and don't interchange with 1/2 and 3/4 tons. When people need a 14bff they get them from a 3/4 ton or military 5/4 ton, since 1 tons would require spring perch movement and I believe shock mount move.
