Pulled from a truck and sitting outside, oil inside and gears are good(and 3.73).

I'm not sure what to offer, it is a friend, and he told me to make him an offer.

fifty bucks from a friend , 100 bucks from a non friend . They really aren't all that rare , at least not until every make and model of 4x4 has one and the yards don't anymore :thumb:

That's what I was kinda thinking. It'd probably need new brakes and seals being outside, but around here they usually get moss and mold on them before rusting :haha:

A 14ff will bring $100.00 all day long regardless of gearing or condition. If it already had rear disc conversion then more.

offer to get it out of way of lawnmower...then $100 and con him into help swapping it into your truck :-)

now that is a good price..

around here they cost $50 from the junkyard all day....however with the price of steel being so high they are gonna start getting rare... :doah:

a couple weeks ago a buddy of mine who has a wrecker service helped me haul an old truck to the scrap yard. he is a big 4x4 enthusiast and told me that I was probably gonna get sick while we were in there. I spotted 2 4x4 3/4ton subs, at least 4 3/4ton 4x4 trucks, 1 was upside down and had a sm465/np205 underneath, 2 sets of 2.5 ton military axles a 69 chevelle and a 66 chevelle. there were also numerous 69-87 chevy pickups. my friend was right, I almost threw up.:(

Yes, that sucks.

I think $50 - $75 is a good offer for a 14 bolt. I just got one in good shape for $50.

I gave $150 for mine with 3.73 gears and an open carrier. If it was a govlock I would offer less.
