I have been talking to this guy i work with about selling me his truck but i want to know what you guys think. so heres the skinny.

2001 gmc crew cab 2500
short bed w/ spray in liner
6.0 i believe
just hit 100k
6" lift (unknown brand)
33x10.50 10k miles on it
mickey thompson rims
leather int.
power windows
power seats

the bad:
front end vibrates a little
you have to turn the key twice to start it
heater sticks on sometimes

blue book is kinda confusing on it. i found two numbers. one said it was worth 7k to 8k. another said 10k to 12k. so what would you guys pay for it?

I wouldnt pay over 8 for it myself, but I avoid previously modified trucks like the plague, especially lifted IFS ones.

Front end vibrating probably means a worn steering component or ball joint.

Needing to prime twice sounds like it's time for a new fuel pump.

Factor those into the cost, honestly sounds like a bit of a basket case and I wouldn't give book for it.

Bluebook in CA is also overpriced a lot of the time. I did a bunch of car trading 6 months ago and no one was buying or selling anything at bluebook even for cars in good shape. If it's a truck, it's even tougher since everyone has been trying to dump low gas mileage vehicles.

the lift is from the dealership so im not to worried about that but i offered him 6k for it. we will see what he says.
