march gm of the month....lol. What ya think .

Looks tough! Where did you get the snorkles or are they home made?

Looking good. Are those Electrical service heads on the ends of the snorkle tubes? If so, ingenius usage of non automotive related parts.

Yeah they are homemade snorkels using 2in pvc and electrical conduit head units i modified and put screens in. they both feed into 3 in flexible tube that run in to a 75 corvette dual snorkel air cleaner. it was also modified with a powermaster air spacer for the TBI.The front running gear is a 30 spline 10 bolt locked with 5.13s and that is a gorhino truss with skid plate . ill see if i can get a few pics.

Thanks

hate the truss but otherwise the truck is sweet. What do you use it for that you have that truss setup?

Well i have seen smaller trusses but i liked the fact it protects the front diff 2. We go out to paragon so it sees the rocks, also hit up the central jersey mud holes. it is a very strong unit and supports the axle tubes well.

Snorkels Look Great!!

Snorkels Look Great!! I would like some more details how you put screens in the Electrical conduit. Your advice would be an appreciated greatly you have the cleanest design I’ve seen so far and I’ve been looking diligently for along time. Any additional information would be helpful pic, designs etc... Thank for the inspiration on the newest mod for my K5. :D :D

I had the same type GoRhino truss on the rear of my Bronco when I had it. After it kept spinning around the axle and becoming an anchor every time it took a direct rock hit, I ditched it. No matter how tight I clamped it down, it just kept rotating........

That truck sure looks like a good one :D

Just curious why you would part out a truck that is in as good as shape as that one ?

Are you parting out the whole truck or just certain parts ?

What are the benifits of having a dual snorkel as compared to just one ?

You said that it came off of a Corvette but why would a Corvette have anything to do with dual snorkels ?
