I been going back and forth with a guy on another forum about swapping truck cabs, he is trying to tell me that GM made single cabs trucks in the old body style until 91. I though all old body style trucks after 87 were 4 doors until 91, did GM make military trucks and railroad trucks in a single cab old body style after 87? all the CUCV trucks Ive seen were 85-86s. can you guys give me accurate info so I can go back and argue with him more?

Blazers, Burbs and K30 went to 91. I do believe it was only the crewcabs though. otherwise yes, 87 is the last year GM made a real truck.

They also kept the Cab & Chassis models in the old body stiles, and they were regular single cabs. Most of them were equipped with stake/flatbeds or wrecker bodies.
So basically all you could get in a new body 1 ton from 88-91 was a regular cab or extra cab and only with a pickup box single or duel wheel.
