81 went to cowl panel under windshield separate form hood, unlike 80 older
in 81 gm went back to some similar items to the first gens, like back to the separate cowl panel behind hood, and the lights in the bumper, and other
71 72 and 81 82 with the bumper lights anyways

and i have both a 71 and an 81
which is kinda funny too, adds to it all, heh
my 87 silverado and my 82 t/a are my only vehicles that dont have parking lamps in the front bumper although the t/a they are right on top side of bumper, but mounted to rad support panel
