Hey all, I know I've seen this on here before, but I searched and I can't find it tonight. I need a new cab for my 86 one ton project as the other had really bad hidden rust. Is it 81 or 83 to 87 that the cab mounts match up? Need to know with a quickness, have a line on a couple straight cabs....Dave

Just make sure you get the right steering column if you're going pre-85 to post-85, wipers moved from dash to column that year . . .
I thought they modified the frame in the early 80's to make room for the catalyitic converters. If this isn't the case, how far back will fit an 86's cab mounts. I've seen a slew of pretty cabs from the late 70's.
