Ordered some stuff from TSM, and so I'm contemplating how to set it all up. (The rotor is shiny and all, but came with the right hole pattern and the wrong hole size, grr.... anyway, drill press fixed that.) This is going on the 1350 yoke on my TH400 in my 2WD tow rig, actually, and not on a t-case (seeing as I don't have one!) but the principle is the same.

The caliper lever goes left-to-right, and the cable from the cab of course goes front-to-back. I suppose I could just use a piece of pipe there and bend a cable around it ... I'm gonna fab up a bracket to bolt to the crossmember, so I can incorporate it into that no problem.

Any other ideas? Another level on a bushing of some kind? Pix of what y'all have done? Other?

Not to highjack your thread but do you have a link to the brake you bought or a # as I'm looking to get one for my Blazer.
Thanx Ryan

just an idea, but how about a little pulley/bushing? seems to me the pipe thing would wear the cable. v belt idler pulley comes to mind...

Yeah, or the cable would wear the pipe!

Hmm ... now, where would I find such a pulley? S'pose I could go Pick-N-Pulling...

being a former toyota guy, 22re's had two, one for the ac, and one for the ps. ac is smaller, ps is bigger. or most any other import with v belts.

Hafta be older to have V-belts ... but conveniently, the ones @ the PnP are gonna be older. This rain better stop or I'ma be one wet mofo at the junkyard...
