Just got a new Summit catalog in the mail yesterday and the centerfold featured employee vehicles. His K5 is in there.
His vert was a beauty, I’ve seen guys repost pics of it on a local fb squarebody page. Just sassy 
He is active on FB. Building a house right now. I posted a link to this topic on his timeline!
Hey Guys! I'm still around. Just haven't been on CK5 too much for one reason or another. Have a ton of my old CK5 buddies as friends on Facebook.
Just wondering, haven't seen you in a while...you were active back in 2010 when I started my restoration. I don't do facebook much at all. Post up some new pics just so we can see your K5. Is the plasticote peel off paint still on as a white stripe?
No I got rid of the white plastic-dip about a year or two ago. Mainly because every time I fueled up I had to worry about getting gasoline on it since the fill was right there in the white area. I spilled gas on it a couple of times and had to do “paint” repairs and they started looking worse and worse. If it weren’t for the tank fill being where it was I might have kept it longer.
Blazer in storage right now as I’m building a new house. Hope to have it in its new heated home garage in about a month.
