O2bJimmy called sence he isn't a member. Came acrost a ford cheap. Asked if it'd worth it cost wise.

Worth it for what? Whats it going to go in? If its a good price id snag it. crossover/histeer will work, same for chevy/ford.

Its a high pinion d60 front and a 60 rear both with 4.56 gears, good breaks and not 1 leak. I was just wondering what is involved in putting it in the blazer. The axles are costing me 500$ /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif I also would get the rest of the Furd along with the axles. So would it be cheaper too swap them into my blazer or sell them and try to find a gm 60 /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well thats one hell of a deal! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Depends what year it is. 77-79 fords were the only ones with 32" spring center, all the rest were 36". Since there both already geared you could swap in a driver drop 205 and run the axles.

Or what everyone else is going to say is, since the ford 60 is on the drivers side, guess your best bet would be to sell it and get a GM60.

Don't run hysteer on a Ford D60 HP. You will most likely break the knuckles. A local AZ guy broke 3 Ford knuckles, and I don't think he was even running hysteer. He now runs Dedenbears to cure the problem.

Ford knuckles are even weaker then the Chevy knuckles, and running hysteer on Chevy knuckles is a gamble.

Right on, then bolt it all up! Even if you upgrade the knuckles later, your still ahead!
