What\'s good place to get pipe fittings?
I'd appreciate it if somebody could point me to a place where I could get pipe fittings, both standard and metric. I've only found standard plumbing stuff locally at hardware stores, and no inverse flares. Summit or similar places carry mostly aluminum fittings for AN flares - I'd like to get stainless steel if I can. I'm aware of classictube.com but haven't had a chance to call them yet.
I need some fittings to fab piping so I can keep EGR and AIR on my engine once I have the vortec heads installed (BTW, still waiting from the package from gmpartsdirect.com, ordered Nov 2, one "lost" package and many e-mails later, so ....). I'm planning to use the AIR port on the Edelbrock TES header to take the exhaust gas for EGR, and connect the smog pump air line to the exhaust at the oxygen sensor bung on the header, hence the need for metric fittings. Advice is greatly appreciated, thanks, michael.
