Whats it worth?

The least amount you can pay for it:D

Is it complete? Just the engine right?

I figure I got a deal on mine. $400 but it was missing a few things, exhaust manifolds, alt, may not have had an intake either. I bought it after the turbo had been parted out. It had less than 10,00 on a rebuild. Sheared the woodruff key on the IP and guy began parting it out before he found the problem.

$1,000 seems to be an average price for a take out with a turbo.

I found one advertised on craigslist for $2000 and offered the guy $500 since it didn't have a turbo. Glad to know I'm not the only one thinking the same thing. He replied with it only had 90K miles on it since he paid a dealer $6000 umpteen years ago to put it in... not to mention utter lack of puncuation.

there's over 6,000 invested 500 is an a joke and you try find a good running 6.5 you can't that's why it's rebuilt 2000 is the lowest i'll ever take for it

a diesel is good for up to 350000 miles and you must know what your talking about buddy i do this for a living and i will sell it the ones telling you they have one r junk i bet you this one is still in the rig and runs like a champ and no turbo and turbo engines r the same for that years your just another craigslist junky

Heck, last time I bought a good cummins it was only $1400

Crack head...

I paid $500 plus a core small block for my 6.2. it had more miles, but came with every single thing I needed to do the swap...including the rad, starter, alt, flywheel, clutch, etc etc.

He doesn't have anything special, in fact the lack of a turbo really hurts the pricing IMO.

He's made the mistake in thinking since he got ripped off it's worth more:D

Had it rebuilt at the dealer? $$$$$$$$$$$$:haha:

90k on a rebuilt engine is nothing to party about.

$500 is a good offer IMHO.
