What's my best combo?

I have a few trucks too many.

#1 91 2wd 2500 burb tbi 350 4l80 3.73.

#2 88 2wd 2500 crew 6.2 400 4.10

I want to build the best tow rig with what I have. I am thinking the Burb with 6.2 465 3.42's to tow my K5. I have multiple sets of 14b ff gears. I have a brand new set of 225?16's. I can step up to 285's to keep the rpm's down while on the interstate. I am not real interested in an under/overdrive unit.

If I were to build the cc it would need some major body work and it has no dry storage. I am spoiled with the burbs. What do I need to make my 91 burb get the job done?

6.2 with a turbo. You could go full manual on the 4l80 or get a controller for 500

But the turbo and trans control cost money. I am trying to use what I already own.

for towing i would go with the TBI 350 4L80E
The TBI 350 will out pull a NA 6.2.
TBI 350 has 60Ft LBS more torque than a 6.2
350 has 300 lbs vs the 6.2 at 240lbs
I would throw the 4.10 gears under the burb and call it done.
