I have a tax credit from Mr. Bush burning a hole in my pocket, and have been cruisin' Ebay for carbs. Lots of lockers out there used.

Can someone tell me what spline count I have. I have a Dana 44 front with the a 12 bolt rear. Currently 3.73's which is usually the carrier break isn't it?

Not sure what I am looking for exactly. A Detroit rear and Lock Right front is probably what will happen, but it all depends on money.

Seems the GM12 does not have too many options for lockers, how come ?

Both axles are 30 spline. Get an Aussie locker for the front, they have a much better reputation than any of the other "lunchbox" lockers.

I wouldn't spend the money on a full carrier detroit in the rear.

What are your plans for the truck? Does it have a gov-lok in the rear now or is it open?

For 12 bolts I love the Eaton LSD that has the carbon fiber clutches. I don't remember what they call it but I had one in my '88 K5 & loved it. Good street manors but rarly slipped. The 12 bolt was swapped into my 88 when I killed the 10 bolt.

I'm running a Lockrite in the front and a Powertrax for the rear. The rear is very calm on the road.
