I'm going from a 700R4 to a TH350 in my 84. It has a 208 x-case. The 350 has the correct shaft to adapt to the 208. I know I will need a different torque converter and flywheel, but what else??? Are the mount bushings different?

you will need a different converter, but should not need a new flexplate (flywheels are for manuals). it should bolt to the same holes. the mounts are all the same, you will need the correct dipstick. cooler lines should be the same.
can't think of anything else.

I did this swap last year. I already had the torque converter, but yes you will need that. My TH350 i bought was from a 350/208 combo, but I don't think all TH350's have the correct output shaft. I think you need a longer one to get good spline engagement. You will also need the 350/208 adaptor. The tranny mounts are different and so is the crossmember. PM me if ya need any more info.:waytogo:
