It is just the cool thing to do! I'm with Greg here too... its just to get your ugly mug in the shot!

Just inside the drivers front tire in this pic there is a hole that isn't visible in this shot. It was big enough to swallow my 42's... and had swallowed quite a few prior to my attempt on this obstacle. Thanks to a good spotter (thanks Todd) and a new line, I missed the hole... too bad I blew the passenger side 30 sp. stub 10 ft. later! /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Anyways, looking at the one tire gives you some idea where the other tires are falling as well... if you know your vehicle well - not to mention clearly seeing where you are heading and where the driver's front tire is.

i like to look at an obstical and decide what line i want my pass side tire to take. then i look 7 feet the the left and follow the same line with my drivers side tire. plus i save time and money by sand blasting my teeth on the trail rather than brushing them at home.

watching over the huge rocks we crawl in our IFS toyotas

watching your exhaust blow water a few feet while playing...

help to keep you from sinking your trail rig...(see craftsman mower)

and watching the last roost your truck will ever throw with a govlocked 10 bolt..
