I just finished installing a trailer hitch on my dump truck and used a 1/2" Irwin hole saw. This thing worked great for about 10 holes before it started to get too dull. I was going through 1/2" angle iron on the hitch brackets and approx 1/4" on the truck frame. I believe they cost about $6.00 each and I needed 2 of them to complete 16 holes. I only needed 1 pilot drill that cost approx $2.50.
