Whats the diff 10bolt or 44

Got small question on the corp. 10bolt 8 lug and a dana 44 8 lug ? GM trucks used front 8 lug 44's till, like 74? Then switched to a Corp 10 bolt , what parts work on both diffs?
Will the gears, diff , axels interchange?

10 bolt front axles weren't introduced to around 79.

The parts that interchange on D44's and 10 bolts is everything from the knuckles outward.

Keep in mind that there are 2 variations of the D44 front. The internal hub (small hub) and the external hub (large hub). There outers are different from each other but can still be swapped if you swap all the different parts.
