What should I expect to sell a d60 single wheel 4.10's open diff cleaned up, painted, all new bearings, seals and a 14bbf cleanup and painted, all new bearings and seals, and set up with disc brakes. Only thing missing is the calipers. Deciding whether to get rid of them but I'm not sure if they are selling for what they used to and don't wanna sell for a loss as its always nice to have backup parts available

out here on the west coast, that combo could easily get $1500 or more, at least that's what i've seen a good way to find out is search various regions on craigslist and see what people are offering

Here in the southeast, it'd go for $1000~$1200.

That said I keep hearing about D60's being super cheap up north, like $400~$800. Don't know if it's 100% true but that's what folks say.

i guess in today's economic times true, but i still see them going for not much less than that in a lot worse condition and just for the 60

~1250 on this coast. Maybe less though the missing calipers on the rear may scare people away.

where are the guys from jersey??? in the land where 1 ton axles apparently grow on tree's the combo would be <$1000.

I got my DRW D60/D70HD combo out of a K30 for $650 up in jersey. open diffs, 4.10 gears.

in the end it really depends on what someones willing to pay. my best guess would be $1000-$1200 as was previously stated, mostly due to the D60 and included 14 bolt. the 14 bolt itself maybe a couple hundred.

EDIT - HAHAHAHA just saw the OP was from jersey :)

awww.... and i thought my axles were special ;)

sad to say, jersey pricing is still often the gold standard in deals on that stuff. the selling point on yours is all the new stuff, but i still wouldnt expect much more than $1000 baised on my shopping. But hey, im one of the least knowledgeable guys on the forum, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

there is no "going rate" for axles really..

go ahead and put a 1500 tag on it, you will prolly die with it.

with craigslist around, people find amazing deals, and if they dont right away, they will wait til they do.

got my dana 60 srw with 14bolt combo with 4.56's for $500.

craigslist killed ebay/tagsale sales:haha:

HAHAHA. I love that me and a few others have spread NJs stigma of cheap 1 tons. Its true they really do grow on trees here. Selling that here I'd say around $600-750 on a very good day.

Like I always say I bought a SRW set of 1 tons for $400 a few years go but resold them and made like a $150 profit...

Just as some proof for the non believers :D

O and to add theres a yard here that still has lots of old good stuff that will sell any differential for $500 for a 30 day warranty on ring and pinion. I said to the lady "So a dana 60 front and a 14bolt full floater rear are the same price?" "Yep doesnt matter what kind of diff. All diffs are $500 here"

Around here that combo would go for about a grand but you would be holding onto them for a while. Its not a very good deal. I would just keep them
