Whats this cable..no rear Brake lights

Iv been trying to source out the cause of the no rear brake lights or turn signals but it still has rear running lights on my buddys rig, this is a cable that is hanging out but appears to be running to the brake switch, the flasher relay on the other side, and the black box with a white bottom, but i cant find if theres a place it plugs into and i looked everywhere. Theres three wires on it that are two blues and a green, then theres pig tail off that of two greens and the orange mail connector Heres some pics i hope you guys can tell where it goes and what its for, thanks. do the flashers work??? have u checked the fuse???

front turn signals work, flasher doesnt work and the fuse is good, the rear has running lights just no brake lights or turn signals

Are you getting any weird lights coming on when you turn them on? Like the dash lights flashing or maybe a warning light coming on dim?

i had the same problem w/mine and it was jus a 15amp fuse is y i asked...maybe the bulbs burned out??? they r dual purpose i believe...flashers and brake lights r connected too...
