its from a syncrod 205 do i need it if im swapping internals back to regular, want to clean the case and want to know if i can take that thing out?

well, from what I can see, sure. After all, its pink and wrinkled. With a blue top. Don't look like anything that belongs in a 205....

Of course if I had a picture instead of using my imagination, I might not feel that the same....

:haha::haha::haha: I can't imagine what your talking about.

Sounds like the magnet....take it out, clean it up, put it back.

And next time a pic would be a little more help:waytogo:

not to be a jack a$$ but have you even bothered to use the search button on here.

all the questions we have helped yo with have been more than covered here.

i know searching can be a bit of a pain at times. but i have found so much more than i ever would have found otherwise.

and just incase you didnt get back to your other 205 question in the other section read this over and look at the pics. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=253000

I also guess the magnet, clean it and reinstall it.
I guessed that also.

Just make sure after you clean everything, don't just lay the magnet back in the bottom of the case without gluing it down first. I've used epoxy to adhere it to the case just for insurance so the magnet don't jar free and get caught in the gears doing some possible damage.

is this it?

Some of the cases (ok, I think all of them) i've built had a metal bracket that held the magnet in place.
