I noticed today on my 87 K5 theres a electrical jack of somesort under my das kind of over the the E break, its like a plug of some sort, does any one know what its used for? thanks. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

The 87's had Throttle Body Fuel Injection if I'm not mistaken. That's the port for plugging in code readers/scanners, etc. to get diagnostic and error codes from the computer and various engine sensors.

yea if its for diagnostics, then i believe it should have a female that recieves 12 prongs, and a groove on the outside of the connector for lining up the male end.
