Ok, I got my Doubler shifter (twin stick) and I have a mystery part. What is the flat piece with the 2 pieces of tubing welded on it? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

That should be the spacer to locate your shifters in the factory hole in the floor. What tranny are you running?

I'd say a 205 with the twin stick set-up, or at least it will have it sooner or later.

There is a spacer that is needed depending on what transmission is being used, IE: TH350, TH400, 700R4, SM465. All of the transmissions have a different length to them so the shifter has to be spaced accordingly and that is what the spacer is for, some spacers are longer than others.

Yup, the spacer makes up for the trans length.
