I found this thing in my dads big toolbox along with 1", 1 1/16", 1 1/8" 1 5/16" sockets, and some more. here is a picture........

I've seen one before, just don't know what its for...
 
It is a spindle nut socket. It is for the spindle nuts that hold your front hubs on the spindles.

Same answer as the others, but it looks liek the smaller one for a D44 and 10b's.....
 
Ditto , keep it , you'll need it . I like it better than mine since it looks like it centers better , mine has male prongs sitting upright , and it slips sometimes :xmas::xmas::xmas:

Okay thanks, it would only be for 10bolt/d44 because we don't have any 1 ton axles around here.
