Finally started taking it apart a few days ago (the winch) and now I am wondering where the clutch and bearings are so I can see what I need to replace. here is a pic to see where I am at

So anyone know where either of those things are, or where I should look for wear and tear to replace? I probably will try again to take the outer disc for the brake off, I tried 2 nights ago and its stuck on there, so I soaked it in penetrating fluid.

Thanks for the link...does anyone know what serial number for the 8274 winch would be closest for parts for my 8074?

The serial number and actual date code should be stamped on the top of the top housing that you removed already.

I looked and I couldn't see much. I will print out all the the ones off that site, and compare them to the one on my winch.
