Okay, I've gone for awhile. What is the update if any on full soft tops for our rigs? Should I buy a Best Top with snaps? or is someone gonna start making a fast track model again?

STC who made the fastrac style went out of business - no sign of it coming back.

Bestop recently announced they were going to stop building tops for the first gens.

My advice, order from Bestop sooner rather than later!!

As much as I think the Bestops look fugly, I may buy one just to have a proper soft-top for my K5.

There be 6" of snow on the ground and the weather can be anywhere from 5c to -20c from October to March, I need a top solution. I just don't know if I'll be able to afford it any time soon. Stupid mortgage.

Who needs a mortgage? With a soft top you can live in your K5.

out of luck?

Looks like I am a few months too late. I was going to pick one of the bestop's up in December, but was having issues with the title and didn't want to spend $800 on a top for a truck I didn't own. Now the title is straight, but no tops to be found. I called around to a lot of parts stores I found online that still listed them on their web site, but don't really have any. In December there were 1000's on ebay, now zero. Anyone have any info on some "left over" tops. I guess I could look into having one made, but will need to get a rollbar setup first.

Three?? Please tell me they were Bestops and not Kaylines or STCs

All Best Tops and in somewhat disrepair to some degree.

At the time, I wouldn't mount one on the blazer I was driving, so it wasn't an issue but now that we can't get em anymore and I'm into a different blazer I want/need one again.

Ain't it the way...
